On the occasion of Yom Kippur, we invite everyone to join us in the synagogue for a day of prayer, reflection and spiritual renewal. During the Yizkor prayer, we will honor the memory of our departed parents, relatives and loved ones. We welcome you to review the prayer schedule and experience this meaningful day together with our community.
The Sumgayit Jewish Religious Community extends its heartfelt condolences on the passing of Shaul Mikhailovich Davydov, former Head of STMEGI Azerbaijan. Every year before Passover, he gifted our community matzah and grape juice and was always present with us during Jewish holidays. His kindness and support for our community will always be remembered with deep respect.
On January 28, 2026, the Sumgait Jewish Religious Community held an event marking the 76th anniversary of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson beginning his leadership of the Lubavitch (Chabad) movement.
